Five-star wide receiver Rakim Jarrett (Washington, D.C./St. John’s College High) announced via his personal Twitter account that he will be on the Georgia campus next week for a second visit.
The 6-foot, 182-pound wideout is nearing a decision as he tweeted “Commit coming soon.” Jarrett is the nation’s No.2 wide receiver and No.17-rated player overall. As a junior, he caught 38 passes for 782 yards and 11 touchdowns for the 9-1 Cadets. Jarrett, seen as an Ohio State lean, first visited Georgia on February 16.
Georgia has also offered Jarrett’s teammate, five-star outside linebacker Mekhail Sherman. The 6’3″, 234-pound Sherman, the No.2 rated outside linebacker in the country, is also seen as an Ohio State lean.
The Bulldogs currently have one wide receiver commit — four-star Justin Robinson from Eagles Landing Christian. Georgia has five commits and the 12th-ranked recruiting class in the country.
