The Ohio State Buckeyes could make another huge five-star landing, Kelee Ringo, who is the Class of 2020’s top cornerback. He’s one of the few five-star recruits yet to sign.
Ringo is the No. 1 recruit from Arizona and is expected to sign with either Georgia or Alabama.
However, two other schools listed in 6-foot-2 cornerbacks top-five are the University of Texas and the University of Oregon. Those schools could benefit from being closer to Ringo’s home of Arizona.
The five-star recruit announced his final top-5 on Twitter, and Ohio State was, to some people’s surprise, on his list.
247Sports got all but one correct. They had Ringo also including the University of Southern California, not Oregon.
Ringo, who is the ninth overall recruit in the Class of 2020, would be welcomed in Columbus. The Buckeyes already boast the top wide receiver in Julian Fleming and the top offensive tackle in Paris Johnson Jr.
Securing a top threat on the defensive side of the ball would be ideal for Ohio State. He’d easily give them a top-five recruiting class, potentially jumping rival Michigan.
