There is a growing swell of momentum that one of the nation’s top running backs has a real shot of landing at Ohio State. Five-star running back Kendall Milton out of California has already narrowed his final schools down to the four programs of LSU, Ohio State, Georgia, and Alabama. Now he has set an official visit to Columbus from May 31 to June 2.
This is important for a couple reasons. First and foremost, it’s now apparent that Milton will go far from home to play college ball. USC has been crossed off the list. So too has most experts’ leader to land his services, Oklahoma. That means he’s coming a long distance away from his home to play at either Ohio State or one of the three SEC schools on his list.
Also, setting up an official visit tells everyone he means business, and that the Buckeye program has a good to great shot at landing the No. 3 running back in the country for the class of 2020 according to 247 Sports.
The only other program Milton has set an official visit for so far is LSU. That date is set for June 7.
