Five-star RB Kendall Milton lists Ohio State in his final four schools

There’s still a ways to go, but one of the country’s top running backs in the 2020 class has released his final four schools in his Twitter feed — and Ohio State has made the cut.

The Buckeye staff and head coach Ryan Day have been working hard to land the 6-2, 220 pounder out of Clovis, California, and with this news, the efforts appear to be paying dividends. The other three teams in his final schools are some of the usual suspects — Georgia, Alabama, and LSU.

Though it might seem like a long shot for the nation’s No. 3 rated running back according to 247Sports to leave the West Coast to come to the Midwest and play for a Big Ten school, this announcement turns everything the recruiting-types thought of his likely destination on its head.

There’s no Oklahoma and no USC in the list, and those were thought to be two of the front-runners when it came to chances of landing Milton.

We’ll obviously keep an eye on this recruitment and news of any impending announcement. The job is J.K. Dobbins’ this year, but there’s a good chance that he could leave early for the NFL after the season leaving a void that Milton could potentially step into.
