Five-star RB Bijan Robinson announces commitment date. Who will he choose?

Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, Arizona) senior running back Bijan Robinson said that he will choose between Texas and Ohio State and announce his college commitment on Aug. 2.

Apparently, Robinson has crossed USC off his list.

He made official visits last month to Texas, USC and Ohio State.

Robinson is considered one of the nation’s top tailbacks. He is a five-star 247Sports composite with a No. 4 ranking in the nation for running backs in the 2020 class.

He is on pace to break the big-school Arizona rushing record of 5,878 yards, set by Marcus Thomas at Tolleson (Ariz.) High School (2000-02).

Robinson, 6-foot-1, 205 pounds, has 4,801 yards and 65 touchdowns rushing in his high school career.

The all-time state rushing record is 7,544, set by Casey Jahn at Northwest Christian (Phoenix) from 2008-11.

Meanwhile, his highly recruited teammate, safety Lathan Ransom, 6-2, 200, announced Tuesday that he’ll come out with a commitment video on July 16 at 3 p.m.

Ransom also has Texas and Ohio State among his favorites.
