Five-star California running back Kendall Milton has apparently made up his mind and has also set a timetable for an announcement of which college he’ll attend. This according to comments made to 247Sports at The Opening Finals.
Ohio State is hoping that decision has a Scarlet and Gray hue to it.
Milton was long thought to be a good bet to commit to Columbus, but that’s not so sure a thing any longer. Many experts and recruiting services have begun to give Georgia the best odds along with Alabama as a close second. The other two he’s choosing from are LSU and Ohio State.
He had whittled his list down to those four schools last month and then took visits to each.
After talking to his family and each coaching staff, the No. 3 rated running back and 21st overall recruit in the 2020 class according to 247Sports is ready to make his official announcement on July 29.
At this point, I’d say the Buckeyes aren’t the favorites by a long shot, but he could be playing the equivalent to college football possum with everyone. Either way, we’ll have the news for you as soon as it breaks late this month.
