Five-star defensive end recruit makes fourth visit to Georgia

One of Georgia’s top recruiting targets for the 2020 class, Damascus, Maryland strong side defensive end Bryan Bresee , was in Athens last weekend with his entire family.

“It was really good,” Bresee told the Columbia State.  “Had a really good time and got to spend the whole day with about the whole coaching staff, so it was a really good day. That was my fourth time down there so we’ve gotten to go down there a lot and check it out a bunch. We got to spend a lot of time with coach Smart and got to break down some of my own game film with coach Scott, the defensive line coach. Just got some quality one on one time with the defensive coaching staff and coach Smart. He just tells me how I fit into scheme of things and how I could thrive in that system.”

Bresee is the nation’s No. 2 overall prospect and the No. 1 rated defensive player in the country. The 6’5”, 290-pound five-star athlete is one of the most highly rated prep players in the last 20 years. He has all the tools to be a difference maker.

Clemson, Penn State and Ohio State are seriously in the mix. He said he has no order to the schools and plans to take a couple of official visits in the spring.

Georgia currently has two four-star defensive tackles and five-star offensive tackle Broderick Jones committed to the 2020 class.
