Ross Doohan, on loan at Ross County from Celtic, will start in goal while Parkhead teammate David Turnbull will play in midfield. Rangers trio Glenn Middleton, Nathan Patterson and Lewis Mayo have also been named in the starting XI.

Fraser Hornby of French side Riems will captain the team after Ross McCrorie was called up to the senior squad.

Scotland starting XI: Doohan, Harvie, Mayo, McIntyre, Irving, Patterson, Maguire, Hornby, Middleton, Turnbull, McLennan.

Subs: Wright, Morrison, Ashby, Anderson, Reading, Chalmers, McInroy, Kelly.

Scotland come into the match full of confidence after the 2-0 victory over Czech Republic four days ago. They currently sit a point behind the Czechs in group four with a game in hand.

The winners of the group will progress to the European Championships.
