Five players Man Utd could still sign this summer after confirming Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has finally completed his dream move to Manchester United in a stunning £50million deal from Crystal Palace .

The 21-year-old impressed at right-back last season and has now become the most expensive player to have under 50 appearances for a club.

The talented full-back is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s second signing of the summer transfer window, following Welsh winger Daniel James to Old Trafford.

But Solskjaer is not hanging around and there’s a strong feeling that more could be on the horizon fairly soon.

And, here is the lowdown on who United may have their eye on…

Samuel Umtiti

A player that has been on United’s radar for some time now, having endured a stop-start career in Spain since joining Barcelona in 2016.

He was strongly linked with the Red Devils last year and after signing a new five-year deal at the Nou Camp, a potential move looked near-on impossible.

But following a tough season with a knee injury and just 14 La Liga appearances, Barcelona are thinking of moving him on to refresh their squad.

A centre-back is high on the priority list in Manchester, especially after solving the full-back problem, and Umtiti would be a key part of Solskjaer’s plans should he sign.

Harry Maguire

After making a statement in England’s memorable 2018 World Cup campaign last summer, Maguire has been closely monitored by several big clubs.

With United in the market for a towering centre-back and a leader of men, it is not surprising to see rumours circulating.

But they’ll have strong competition and will have to pay big bucks to get the deal through, as rivals Manchester City have also been extremely keen to bolster their back line.

And although Solskjaer is keen, with the Foxes demanding a world record £100million, it remains to be seen whether the price tag can be met.

Philippe Coutinho

While Coutinho played a big part at rivals Liverpool , it has not stopped the Red Devils keeping tabs on his current situation.

Paris Saint-Germain are the other club interested and are likely to be able to afford a higher fee, considering Barcelona’s costs could rise to £142million for the Brazilian.

Some fans booed his performances inside the Nou Camp in a difficult season in Spain.

And speaking at the Copa America, Coutinho said “As for my future we do not know what is going to happen, that is the truth”, before adding, “the season did not go as I’d hoped”.

It is fair to say that Manchester United will be monitoring his every move as they look to add a spark to their attack.

Sean Longstaff

The 21-year-old became a key part of Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle side before a knee injury ended his season prematurely.

And after Benitez’s departure, the rumours are out that Solskjaer wants to hijack the player in the midst of club uncertainty.

A new policy is at the front of people’s minds at Old Trafford, bringing in players that can be developed into well-established individuals.

With a reported £25million price tag, it seems like a promising deal for United who would make a strong addition to a group of talented young signings.

Jadon Sancho

A name that is growing worldwide by the day, Sancho was a product of Manchester City’s youth academy, scouted by Borussia Dortmund and has conquered Germany at 19 years old.

After impressing for England too, he’s been on the radar and could potentially be part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad overhaul this summer.

The deal rests on the departure of Paul Pogba, freeing up the bank balance while United will need a new star name to add to their squad.

Sancho’s transfer will be heavily reliant on funds available with United failing to achieve Champions League football, but if they can muster the cash, he would be a fine addition.
