Five players Liverpool are tipped to sign in the summer transfer window

Liverpool have booked their place in the Champions League final.

Attention now turns to the final day of the Premier League as Liverpool take on Wolves looking to beat Man City to the Premier League title.

Regardless of how the results  pan out, there is no denying that the Reds have made tremendous progress this season and have proved in the past two years they are among Europe’s titans.

And Liverpool could invest in the squad further in the transfer window.

Speculation about a number of additions are already widespread and, using BetVictor, we have identified the five signings they believe are most likely to arrive at Anfield during the close-season.

Timo Werner - RB Leipzig (2/1)

The 23-year-old is one of few top-class strikers in the world not yet at a ‘big’ European club but that could change this summer as his contract situation at RB Leipzig is uncertain. With Daniel Sturridge looking set for an exit, Werner’s arrival would see him compete with Roberto Firmino for a starting berth.

Paulo Dybala - Juventus (3/1)

Another forward linked with a move to Liverpool, Paulo Dybala has not been as effective this season for Juventus following Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival last summer. The difficult part for the Reds would be where he would fit into the side as neither he or Firmino would likely be happy to be second choice.

Maxi Gomez - Celta Vigo (4/1)

Heavily linked with a Premier League move during the January window, where West Ham were seen as the favourites for his services, the Uruguay international looks set to leave Celta Vigo this summer and could be a superb addition to Liverpool’s already bolstering front line.

David Neres - Ajax (4/1)

A key part of an Ajax side that has stunned European football this season by reaching the Champions League semi-finals, and securing first blood over Tottenham Hotspur with a 1-0 win in north London, David Neres is among a host of players within the squad who are expected to make the jump to a bigger side this summer.

Houssem Aouar - Lyon (4/1)

A year after the Nabil Fekir rumours that did not go away, Liverpool are now linked with another Lyon man in the form of 20-year-old midfielder Houssem Aouar. The central midfielder has attracted plenty of suitors this season, scoring seven goals and contributing four assists in Ligue 1.
