Five people were arrested by police officers this morning on Stapleton Road in Easton following a group fight.
Eyewitness reports suggest the incident spilled out into the bottom of Armoury Square.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called to a disorder in Stapleton Road, Bristol, at about 8am today (Sat 7 March).
"Officers attended the scene and then a nearby property where they found a number of people with injuries, none of which are life-threatening.
"Five people have been arrested in connection with this incident on suspicion of affray.
"We believe all those involved are known to each other.
