Latin America and The Caribbean offer a diverse range of landscapes, from stunning golden beaches to rugged coastlines and clear blue waters. And 'TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards Best of the Best' took notice, highlighting options from Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America as places ideal to leave a lasting impression on travelers.

Four of the top five spots from this year went to Caribbean beaches, while the most popular South American beach ranked seventh. It was Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where the guide highlights the wide array of activities available, such as surfing, playing volleyball, and more.

These awards seek to celebrate beaches that usually receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period. "Out of our 8 million listings, fewer than 1% achieve this milestone," details the guide in its website.

Here are Latin America's most popular and finest to visit in 2024, perfect for either unwinding in a tranquil setting or indulging in exciting adventures, as chosen by the public.
