Five more women accuse former DC Comics editor Eddie Berganza of sexual harassment

A week after Eddie Berganza was fired from DC Comics amid claims of groping multiple women, more have come forward with similar accusations.

Five women told BuzzFeed News that the former executive editor made inappropriate comments and attempted to kiss them.

Among the accusers is Molly McIsaac, who claims that Berganza implied he would give her a job in exchange for sex.

"It made me so uncomfortable that it was implied that I had to sleep with someone to get a job, that I would legit never write for DC unless I had sex with Eddie," she told BuzzFeed News.

"It was very obvious."

After she rejected his offer, McIsaac claimed that Berganza took two months before turning her down for the job.

Jami Bernard, a former Daily News film critic, pitched Berganza a multi-issue story about Lois Lane facing workplace sexism when he forcibly kissed her twice in 2006.

"I felt bad about myself _ why didn't I pursue that opportunity? Why did I walk away? What did I do that turned him on so much?" she told BuzzFeed News.

"I had hoped that writing Lois Lane comics would be a possible entry to a new career. But Eddie Berganza was the sole gatekeeper to that path, and I could not bring myself to work with him."

Berganza, 53, was fired by DC Comics and Warner Bros. in mid-November after three former employees accused him of sexual assault.

"We are committed to eradicating harassment and ensuring that all employees, as well as our freelance community, are aware of our policies, are comfortable reporting any concerns and feel supported by our Company," the company said in a statement.
