Five-month-old German Shephard puppy missing in Coatbridge woods

A five-month old puppy has gone missing between Airdrie and Coatbridge.

Rosa the German Shephard mix ran away form her owner Kurtis Barron on Saturday night when she was startled while out on a walk at Cairnhill woods.

She is a very shy dog and while Kurtis believes she is still in that area, he has asked members of the public not to approach her as it will scare her off.

He said: "The plan is to try and trap Rosa so she can't get any further away.

"She's only five-months-old and is fairly cautious around me so around strangers she will run.

"She's scared and has been on her own since Saturday night.

"We think she's okay, but we just need people to keep their distance so we have a better chance of getting her.

"If somebody spots her, please call me on 07497 346268."
