Five men have been arrested after a suspected burglary.
Yesterday evening police were called to reports of suspicious activity at an industrial estate on Pool Lane in Ince, a village outside Ellesmere Port. A large police presence was spotted at the scene, and witnesses reported seeing a helicopter using a spotlight to search the nearby area.
Police confirmed at around 6.20pm officers, supported by a police helicopter and police dogs, attended the scene and arrested five men at the site. Three of the men, aged 20, 28 and 39, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.

The other two men, aged 19 and 34, were arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal. The men, all from the Chester and Wolverhampton areas, are now in custody.
Police constable Jess Small, of Cheshire Police's Western Area investigation team: "Burglaries of all nature are not acceptable, and we are committed to doing all we can to ensure those responsible are held accountable for their actions.
"On this occasion, as a result of the swift attendance at the scene, and a co-ordinated search of the area, five men have been arrested and are currently assisting with our enquires.
"I would like to thank all the officers involved in the response, and I hope that these arrests provide reassurance to local residents and businesses."
