A garda manhunt has been launched to find a vicious gang who brutally attacked a man in a quiet estate over the weekend.
The young man was rushed to St Vincent's Hospital after being "jumped on by five people" in Dargle Crescent in Bray, Wicklow.
In photos seen by Dublin Live, the victim - who was walking home from a friend's house - received brutal blows all over his face especially around one of his eyes.
He received cuts and bruises to his forehead, cheek and mouth while his right eye was slightly closed and black and blue following the attack.
The man took to social media warning the five people, who are said to have assaulted him, that it "would not be the end" and that he "won't go away".
He also claimed that his fluffy jacket, phone and wallet were all robbed during the incident.
The victim says that the gang were searching for alcohol when they surrounded him and repeatedly hit him.
A Garda spokeswoman confirmed the assault to Dublin Live.
She said: "Gardaí are investigating an assault which occurred in Dargle Crescent, Bray, Wicklow."
"A male was taken to St Vincents Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
"No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
