Five Manchester United games in January moved for TV coverage

Manchester United will play Aston Villa at 8pm on New Year's Day after all five of their Premier League fixtures in January were moved for live TV coverage.

The Premier League have confirmed that every fixture in January will be shown live on Sky Sports, BT Sport or Amazon Prime.

United bring in 2021 with that clash against Villa at Old Trafford, one of only two games on New Year's Day, and could have a Carabao Cup semi-final in the following midweek if they can get Everton at Goodison Park next Wednesday.

Attention then turns to the FA Cup, with their third-round tie against Watford already confirmed for 8pm on Saturday, January 9.

United return to Premier League action on Sunday, January 17, when they travel to Anfield to face Liverpool. That game kicks-off at 4.30pm and is live on Sky Sports.

This season's winter break sees teams play on alternate midweeks. While United don't have a game between the FA Cup tie and the game at Liverpool, they are then in action on Wednesday, January 20, when they travel to the capital to play Fulham (8.15pm) in a game live on BT Sport.

The FA Cup fourth round is scheduled for the weekend of January 23/24, with United back on Premier League duty on Wednesday, January 27 (8.15pm) against Sheffield United at Old Trafford. That fixture is live on BT Sport.

Finally, United finish January with a trip to the Emirates Stadium to play Arsenal on Saturday, January 30 (5.30pm). That game will be screened live by Sky Sports.
