Edinburgh has one of the most spectacular Christmas markets in Europe...hands down.
Even Glaswegians - who have a longstanding rivalry with Edinburgh - flock to Princes Street to experience the capital's winter wonderland.
But seeing as this city already has the BEST Christmas market in Scotland (and probably the UK), we have to look further afield to find something that will impress us.
So, whether you're crazy for Christmas or are just looking for a freezing cold - albeit romantic - weekend away, here are five unreal Christmas markets you can fly to from Edinburgh this December for under £100.
1. Berlin, Germany

From Stuttgart to Cologne, Germany is famous for its dazzling Christmas markets - but Berlin's is one of the best.
Located at Alexanderplatz Square, the market is situated in the heart of the city, under the glow of the Charlottenburg Palace that is lit up during the festive months.
There's everything you could want from a festive market, with mulled wine, stollen cake, Christmas tree ornaments and other crafts that are an essential part of German Christmas tradition.
The festival is open from 25 November-29 December. You can get flights from Edinburgh for under £100 through Skyscanner here.
2. Prague, Czech Republic

Prague's Old Town is beautiful place to visit year-round but becomes even more special around Christmas time.
You may think The Dome's Christmas tree is huge but it has competition when it comes to Prague's tree, which stands in the Old Town Square.
You can browse the wooden chalets that sell a whole range of gifts and foodie treats, including spiced mulled wine, roasted chestnuts and hot mead.
The city is also very cheap when it comes to eating and drinking out, with a beer likely to cost you as little as £1.
So, if you're looking for a place to go while on a budget, head to the Czech capital.
The festival is open from 23 November 2019-6 January 2020. You can get flights from Edinburgh for under £100 on Skyscanner here.
3. Vienna, Austria

You will literally feel like you're in winter wonderland when you step into any one of Vienna's Christmas markets.
One of the most popular markets is in front of the incredible Schönbrunn Palace, which is lit up with lights during the festive season.
There's also the traditional "Vienna Magic of Advent", which sees the City Hall Square turned into a "shining fairytale land".
The bustling markets are full of hand-made Christmas gifts and tree decorations, as well as traditional sweets and drinks to keep you warm in Austria's bitter cold.
The festival is open from 16 November-24 December. You can get flights from Edinburgh for under £100 through Skyscanner here.
4. Brussels, Belgium

"Winter Wonders" in Brussels is a must-see if you love all things Christmas.
Taking place at the Grand-Place, around the Bourse and other areas, the market attracts over two million visitors a year - and it's easy to see why.
Brussels' city centre is transformed by more than 200 chalets, selling everything from hot chocolate to traditional sweets.
There are also fairground attractions, including a ferris wheel, merry-go round and even an covered ice rink for skating.
If you time it right you can see a spectacular Christmas tree sound and light show on the Grand-Place, which is said to be pretty magical.
The festival is open from 30 November 2019- 5 January 2020. You can get flights from Edinburgh for under £100 through Skyscanner here.
5. Budapest, Hungary

Budapest is famous for its ruin bars but did you know they also have incredible Christmas markets?
The oldest market in the city takes place in Vorosmarty Square and is said to be one of Budapest's most spectacular.
Here you will find festive sounds and enticing smells, with street snacks like Langos dodolle (potato dumplings), choirs singing and thousands of handmade gifts to choose from.
But you will be spoiled for choice because nearby you will stumble across another major Christmas Market in St. Stephen square, in front of the beautiful St. Stephen's Basilica.
There will be more food and hundreds of handcraft stalls, as well a skating rink.
The Vorosmarty Square Christmas Market is open from 9 November 2019- 1 January 2020. The Basilica Christmas Market is open from 22 November 2019- 1 January 2020.
