There are five Irish players among the top 40 stars in the Championship this season in the latest rankings
Enda Stevens, John Egan, Alan Browne, David McGoldrick and Shaun Williams are on the list based on statistics compiled by whoscored.com .
Sheffield United defender Stevens is the highest ranked Irish player at 14th after a stellar season that looks set to end in promotion to the Premier League for the Blades.
His teammate John Egan, who has been ever present at centre back, is in 26th place.
Preston North End's Alan Browne is in 33rd spot after bagging 11 goals from midfield this season.

David McGoldrick, who is back in favour with Ireland after the return of Mick McCarthy to the hot seat, is in 38th place after finding the net 15 times for Sheffield United.
And 32-year-old Shaun Williams continues to impress for Millwall and just sneaks into the top 40 in 39th place.
Sheffield United trio Stevens, Egan and McGoldrick and Corkman Browne were all in Ireland's squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers last month with Gibraltar and Georgia.
The Championship player rankings are topped by Birmingham City targetman Lukas Jutkiewicz, while former Ireland underage star Jack Grealish is in second place.
