Easter is now just days away and the urge to overindulge has well and truly arrived.
When it comes to the Easter holidays, there’s nothing as tempting as chocolate - and some of Merseyside’s independents have been showing off their delicious treats online in the run up.
Since we’ve still got a good few days before Easter itself, there is time for you to get your hands on some homemade treats to indulge yourself over the weekend.
We’ve taken a look at some of Merseyside’s independent bakeries offering a delicious selection of treats for collection and delivery this Easter.

Laura’s Little Bakery
Laura’s Little Bakery in Liverpool is offering a range of Easter bakes including a Bounty treat box, Easter cupcake box, Easter treat box and Easter mini egg giant cookies.
10% from each box will also be donated to Claire House as part of their butterfly bake event.

Orders will be delivered via LIDS, who are selling the Easter treats from Laura’s Little Bakery. However, you can also collect directly from Laura’s Little Bakery too.
Liv's Bakes
Liv's Bakes in Wirral has a selection of Easter treat boxes and bakes to choose from, including Easter egg cheesecake halves and much more.
Their treat boxes come in a range of sizes and include items such as mini egg millionaire shortbread, a chocolate nest, Malteser rocky road, a mini egg cookie and a creme egg or caramel egg brownie.
There’s also a treat box for the kids, which includes cupcakes, cookies, a chocolate nest, an Easter activity book and much more.
Their Easter breakfast box also includes a perfect selection to start the day. This includes hot cross buns, sugar waffles, mini pancakes, chocolate chip brioche, a cinnamon bun or a Biscoff bun with fruit, jam and preserves.

Albion Bakehouse
Albion Bakehouse in Liverpool has a range of Easter treats to choose from, for delivery or collection.
Their kids Easter treat box includes a vanilla sprinkle baked donut, mini egg rocky road, vanilla cupcake with marshmallow flavour buttercream, bunny shortbread, sweets and chocolate eggs.
You can also order a range of Easter Cupcakes, an Easter Cake or Hot Cross Scones including jam and clotted cream.

The Bakehouse Wirral
The Bakehouse Wirral has a different menu of treats every-week.
Their Easter menu includes a blondie brownie Easter box, their popular large graze box and their mini bite box (featuring 16 mini blondie brown bites in assorted flavours).
You can also purchase individual items including a range of different flavoured cupcakes, brownies and blondies, including creme egg and mini egg brownies and blondies.

The Rolling Pin Bakery
The Rolling Pin Bakery are offering items for pre-order, and freshly baked treats to purchase daily from their shop in Birkenhead Market.
Their Easter S’mores box includes a marshmallow burner with skewers, marshmallows, 4 large cookies, a slice of school cake, cheesecake Easter egg, 2 glazed donuts, four cupcakes and a bar of chocolate - all for £20.
There is also a wide range of treats to purchase daily, including cheesecake Easter eggs, cupcakes topped with mini eggs or chocolate covered strawberries, mini egg trifles, cheesecakes, Victoria sponge cakes, chocolate cakes and much more!
