VIJAYAWADA: Five of a family from Hyderabad including a six-month-old baby died in a ghastly road accident after the car they were travelling in rammed into a culvert near Jaggaiahpet in Krishna district on Sunday morning.
While three of them died on the spot, two others breathed their last while being shifted to hospital, said sources in the police.
The only survivor in the car accident is said to be in a critical condition.
The police have identified the deceased as Kurapati Kutumbarao (55), Kurapati Marthamma (50), Kurapati Indira (26), Bonala Santhi (30) and six-month-old Bonala Gabriel Princy. Kurapati Joshi (32), an employee of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), was the lone survivor.
