Five Guys to open at East Midlands Designer Outlet shopping centre

Popular burger restaurant Five Guys is to open a new branch at East Midlands Designer Outlet village.

The American burger chain will be opening later this year at McArthurGlen outlet, just off junction 28 of the M1 for Mansfield.

An exact opening date has not yet been confirmed, but the outlet will be based in the food court, adjacent to Wagamama’s, when it is ready to start serving customers.

David Jackson, centre manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet East Midlands, said: "We look forward to welcoming Five Guys to the centre later this year and know that it will be a popular choice for our guests.

"Expanding and developing our food and beverage offering is something we will focus on following the reopening, so keep your eyes peeled."

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet East Midlands, which boasts more than 50 stores including Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Nike and Adidas, reopened this week.

The shopping complex had been closed since December 30, following Government guidelines, but reopened on Monday, April 12 with a number of health and safety measures in place.

The centre says it is continuing the increased cleaning of high touch point areas throughout with disinfectant including door handles, rest rooms and store entrances.
