Five Guys reopens burger restaurant near Nottingham's Showcase Cinema

American burger chain Five Guys is reopening its restaurant near Showcase Cinema in Nottingham.

The outlet, off Redfield Way, is among five more locations across the UK to return to business today (Tuesday, May 19) - all with social distancing measures in place to keep staff and customers safe.

The full menu will be available for both delivery and click and collect orders from noon.

Customers have all the usual choices to create their burgers from scratch by choosing a selection of fresh toppings – with 250,000 possible combinations as well as over 1,000 possible ways to customise a milkshake.

Customers are encouraged to pay online for their order before visiting the store.

The city centre store, in Long Row, has remained open throughout the pandemic for delivery and click and collect from noon to 10pm seven days a week.

Five Guys staff across the UK have delivered burgers and fries to hospitals and key workers.

CEO John Eckbert said: "We have adopted a phased approach to reopening Five Guys stores, adhering to government advice and ensuring the safety of our customers and crew is paramount.

"To date a small number of stores have remained open for Click and Collect and Deliveroo orders only and while this has been in operation, we’re proud of how our crew members have supported local hospitals and key frontline workers across the UK.”
