Five Guys have confirmed the opening date for their West Lothian store.
Speaking to The Courier, a spokesperson for the restaurant confirmed that the Livingston store in The Centre will open in September.
The American chain, famous for its burger and fries, is currently hiring crew members ahead of the big opening next month.
A job advert online explains the Five Guys ethos.
It reads: “We’re the burger restaurant with the uncomplicated formula: burgers and fries cooked to perfection, with no frozen ingredients. And we’ve stuck to the same ‘perfect and serve’ philosophy since our family business began in 1986.”
“These days, we’re still just as much a family as we always have been. We look after each other. We have fun. We have tons of integrity. We’re enthusiastic. We’re competitive. And we just get it done – whatever the challenge. It’s called having the right stuff - and if you’ve got it too, you could join the team as a Crew Member.”
The new Five Guys is to be located at Elements Square in The Centre, at a site last occupied by Ask Italian.
The adjacent restaurants are occupied by Wagamama and Nando’s.
The burger specialist prides itself on using the freshest ingredients, and customers can find out which local farm the potatoes have come from by checking out the restaurant’s notice board.
Burgers are grilled to order, whilst the fries are hand cut every morning and cooked in peanut oil.
Using fresh ingredients there are 250,000 possible combinations to order your burger at Five Guys as well as over 1,000 possible ways to customise your milkshake.
