Five Guys announces open date for new chain at Designer Outlet East Midlands

Five Guys is set to open its doors at a popular shopping village later this summer.

The American burger chain will open its new branch at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet East Midlands, in South Normanton, this August.

The new Five Guys outlet will be based in the food court, adjacent to Wagamama’s, at the shopping complex which boasts more than 50 stores including Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Nike and Adidas, Derbyshire Live reports.

David Jackson, centre manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet East Midlands, said: "We’re committed to expanding our food and beverage offering and look forward to welcoming well-loved burger brand Five Guys to the centre and anticipate it will be a popular restaurant choice with centre guests.

"Please keep an eye on our website and social media platforms for further updates!”

There is also a Five Guys restaurant at the Derbion shopping centre, formerly Intu Derby, in Derby city centre. The chain is known for its burgers, fries and milkshakes.

An exact opening date for the new fast-food restaurant at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet East Midlands, which is located just off junction 28 of the M1, will be confirmed at a later date.
