Five Guys A Week were left gobsmacked after a contestant walked away from the hit Channel 4 series.
Complete with sobbing, eye-wincingly cringey moments and ego-bruised macho men, the C4 show is a treat.
As the title suggests, the programme involves five men moving in with a woman, who whittles down the list each day.
The woman in question this week was glamorous pensioner Susan, who was ready to date again after the passing of husband eight years ago.
Susan recently celebrated her 68th birthday and admitted that she was looking for that special someone to share her 69th birthday with.
The drama-filled episode saw Susan invite five men move into her Yorkshire home for one week, however the episode was equipped with an entertaining twist.
All of the five men had to spend seven days at Susan's home all at the same time.
The ball was soon in Susan's court as she had to choose between the five gentlemen who were looking to sweep her off her feet.
By the end of the week, there was one last man standing after Susan managed to eliminate the others.
After Susan sent one man home, fans were left shocked when another began to pack his bags before Susan sent him packing herself.
Gavin - former lead guitarist in a rock band - made a hasty decision to leave the show - leaving fans utterly surprised.
Gavin told Susan that he "didn't want to ruin" her time, and left shortly afterwards.
Viewers rushed to Twitter to share their confusion as to what they just witnessed.
One fan wrote: "Is Gavin in a huff?"
Another added: "Oh Gavin."
A third penned:"Bye Gavin! He was clearly playing a game." While another agreed: "Can't believe Gavin left."
