It may still be October, but you can't blame anyone for their mind slipping ahead to what pub they will head to first at Christmas this year.
Dubliners are lucky that so many pubs in the capital go all out with Christmas decorations seemingly covering every inch.
But, there are some that go above and beyond when it comes to getting in the Christmas spirit.
Here are the 5 Dublin Pubs that are a must-visit during the Christmas period.
The Gingerman
Prepare for awe and wonder when stepping foot inside The Gingerman on Fenian Street. Slap bang in the city centre, there is no excuse for not having a cheeky festive tipple inside.
The Hairy Lemon
Not only do they do amazing pints of the black stuff, but The Hairy Lemon also goes all out with Christmas decorations. Mulled Wine is also on the menu.
McGowan's of Phibsboro
The Coppers of the northside. You can't go wrong with a festive pint and a massive portion of chicken wings.
Strawberry Hall
Hidden away in the strawberry beds of West Dublin, Strawberry Hall can always be relied on to make that cosy Christmas pint atmosphere.
Hole in the Wall
Quite possibly the most Christmassy pub on this list. The Hole in the Wall is right beside the Phoenix Park. The decorations seem to just go on forever which is hardly a surprise given that it's the longest pub in Ireland.
