Five Fantasy Premier League transfer tips for FPL Gameweek 3

Gameweek two of the 2019/20 Fantasy Premier League threw up some really interesting performances, most notably, Teemu Pukki's incredible 17 point haul after his hat-trick against Newcastle.

But, there were also big performances from the likes of John Lundstram, Sadio Mane, Erik Lamela, Dani Ceballos and Lucas Digne, who all won more than 10 points for their FPL owners.

The biggest surprise of the weekend was the FPL performance of Everton winger Bernard, who has only been picked by 1.8% of players, but earned 11 points after scoring and earning a clean sheet.

That's what FPL is all about.

Ahead of FPL gameweek 3, we've put together a list of five players who have made a good case to be transferred into your FPL squad this week.

Teemu Pukki - Norwich City

Pukki has been in sensational form for Norwich, scoring four goals in his opening two league games, including a hat-trick last time out.

Against Chelsea's struggling defense, Norwich could cause them real problems at Carrow Road, particularly with Pukki's movement.

It might be an obvious choice, but he has to be in.

Next Game: Chelsea (H)

FPL points so far: 24

Current FPL Price: £6.8m

Yerry Mina - Everton

Everton's recent defensive record is mightily impressive, with Yerry Mina playing a crucial role in the opening two games.

The Toffees face newly-promoted Aston Villa next time out and Marco Silva's side will be hoping for another strong defensive performance.

Mina is the same price as teammate Michael Keane, but a much bigger threat at set pieces.

Next Game: Aston Villa (A)

FPL points so far: 16

Current FPL Price: £5.5m

Neal Maupay - Brighton

Sometimes you have to take a gamble when playing FPL, but Maupay might be a gamble worth taking.

The Frenchman is a great finisher and scored at Watford in the opening weekend, but actually hasn't started for Brighton yet, although that could change at home to Southampton.

With Murray yet to find the net, Maupay could get a start this weekend, with the Seagulls likely to score against struggling Southampton and you wouldn't bet against him finding the net.

Next Game: Southampton (H)

FPL points so far: 7

Current FPL Price: £6m

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - Arsenal

Aubameyang might be very expensive, but he could be worth it this weekend.

There's been a lot of talk about Liverpool's high-line and the Gabon international could cause havoc at Anfield on the break, if the Reds stick with it.

Next Game: Liverpool (A)

FPL points so far: 11

Current FPL Price: £12m

Anthony Martial - Manchester United

Martial is now Manchester United's primary striker, with Marcus Rashford preferred out wide.

The Frenchman has now scored in each his first two games and should thrive against struggling Crystal Palace this weekend.

Next Game: Crystal Palace (H)

FPL points so far: 14

Current FPL Price: £7.7m
