A five vehicle crash on the M8 is causing travel chaos on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services raced to the scene at around 8.05am after reports of a multi car smash.
It is unknown if anyone is injured at this time, but police remain on the scene.
They were forced to close down the area near Junction 31 eastbound, close to Bishopton, triggering delays.
One lane has now been reopened to traffic but the road is still partially blocked off by police.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.05am on Wednesday, 3 November, 2021, police were called to a report of a five vehicle road crash on the M8 at Junction 31 eastbound.
"Emergency services are in attendance."
Traffic Scotland said: "Lane two now fully running on the M8 between J31-30.
"However lane 1 remains blocked due to the multi vehicle road traffic crash.
"Take care on the approach."
