Five-bed Irish house with sea views sells for less than €200,000 after bidding war

In just over an hour, a stunning five-bedroom home with glorious sea views in Donegal was snapped up for €158,000 after an intense online bidding war.

The bidding for the countryside property started at just €95,000 but bids quickly rose to over €100,000 in 13 minutes.

The hopeful bidder who placed the second offer on the home ended up eventually buying the home after just under an hour and a half of bidding.

The buyer placed six bids on the house during the bidding frenzy.

The rural property has around 3,500 square footage and is located in the scenic coastal town of Moville on the Inishowen Peninsula of Donegal.

Other five-bed homes in Moville have an asking price of over €200,000.

From stunning scenic views of the surrounding area, large garden space and original wooden interior features the lucky buyer has bagged themselves a gorgeous new property for a fraction of the price of other similar homes in the area.
