Five individuals were arrested during a demonstration on Florida State University’s campus in Tallahassee on Tuesday afternoon, according to school officials. The university stated that those arrested had chosen to engage in unlawful conduct.
Among the five arrested, two are current FSU students. The demonstration, organized by a small group, had been taking place on Landis Green for multiple days prior to the arrests.

FSU officials emphasized that the group had been compliant with the university's rules and regulations until the afternoon of the arrests. The individuals were taken into custody after ignoring multiple requests and warnings to comply with a lawful order.
The university has reiterated its commitment to enforcing its rules, and any acts of violence, disruption of exams, destruction of property, intimidation, threats, or harassment will be addressed by law enforcement or campus officials.
