An 89-year-old Irish grandad has proven that age is just a number after a video of him showing off his boxing skills has gone viral online.
The Dublin native, Stephen Maher, spotted the boxing bag at a relatives' home and decided to show some of his moves.
Granddaughter, Ciara Maher, filmed her superstar grandad and posted it to Twitter where it has been viewed almost 400,000 times.
Ciara said in the post: "Never lost it, my grandad, 89 years of age!! Fit as a fiddle."
The Ballyfermot man, who was one of the founding members of St Matthew's Boxing club, is seen landing quick punches to the boxing bag while a picture of Muhammad Ali hangs in the background.
Stephen finishes the video with a gleaming smile on his face all while wearing a shirt and tie that never budged.
Ciara told the Irish Mirror: "He's huge into fitness. He trains every morning in the Knight's Brook hotel in Trim and the gym there decided to hand him a free membership as he was there every morning.
"He was one of the founders of St Matthew's boxing club (in Ballyfermot, Dublin).
"He just basically makes sure he gets his exercise done every morning."
Since the video was posted, Stephen has been given praise from a number of celebrities including former heavyweight world champions Lennox Lewis and Frank Bruno.
Lewis retweeted the video and said: "Hope I look that good at his age!" while Bruno said: What a champ".
Irish pro fighter Jason Quigley said: "Now that's a man I will never call out."
