Fit-again Adama Traore makes Fulham vow ahead of Wolves reunion

Adama Traore has pledged to return to his best after finally recovering from a hamstring injury that has disrupted his season at Fulham.

The winger signed as a free agent in the summer from Wolves, who the Cottagers face at Molineux tomorrow.

Traore’s involvement this season has been limited to eight substitute appearances, but he has featured in Fulham’s last four games and scored his first goal in last weekend’s win over Brighton.

“I hadn’t had an injury that long in my career, so it was tough and lonely”, Traore said.

“When you are out for a long time, all you want is to help the team, and first of all come back to the pitch and have that feeling of being back with your teammates.

“It was frustrating. I was close to coming back, then I had some problems.”

He said of his form: “I’m feeling good. I think I can keep growing, keep getting the rhythm of the game. It’s not many minutes I’ve played [yet], but I feel I can keep improving. I’m going to get back to my best.

“Every player wants to start games, but that’s the decision of the manager.”
