Fish fingers product sold in Ireland urgently recalled due to possible presence of bones

A fish fingers product sold in Ireland has been recalled due to the possible presence of small bones.

The Brakes Group has recalled its 1.5kg sized pack of MSC Cod Fillet Fish Fingers as a precautionary measure.

Batches with best before dates of 24/10/2020 and 26/10/2020 are being taken off the shelves.

A statement from the Food Safety Authority of Ireland said: "As a precautionary measure, the Brakes Group, is initiating a recall of its MSC Cod Fillet Fish Fingers 1.5kg due to the possible presence of small bones.

"No other products are affected by this recall.  No action is required by the official agencies."
