The first wave from a large convoy of migrants trying to reach the US has arrived in Mexico City.
About 450 people, mostly men and boys, were given temporary shelter at a sports stadium in the Mexican capital, where they rested, ate hot food and watched locals play football.
The convoy, known as a caravan, set off from Honduras several weeks ago and is now about 5,000 strong.
Those in the capital are waiting there to regroup, seeking medical care and rest while they await the arrival of those still in Cordoba, about 178 miles away.
Donald Trump has said troops will stop them crossing the US-Mexican border.
It is unclear which part of the border the caravan will aim for, or how many may splinter off on their own.
Critics have accused the US president of using the threat of illegal immigration to fire up his supporters ahead of tomorrow’s mid-term elections.
The migrants say they are fleeing persecution, poverty and gang violence in their home countries.
