Ant and Dec get incredibly tense in trailer for primetime game show Limitless Win

The official trailer for Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly ’s new primetime game show Limitless Win has finally been unveiled.

News of the telly duo’s new project was announced back in September, and they revealed that the game show, which will feature the world’s first limitless jackpot, would air on Saturday nights.

Ant and Dec’s new five-part series marks the first new format for the award-winning presenting duo for 10 years, and the hour-long show will aim to give contestants the chance to win huge sums of cash.

The presenters worked with production company Hello Dolly on Limitless Win, and revealed that participants will face a money ladder that “never… ever… ends” as they try to bag a massive jackpot during the show.

Every question asked by the hosts gives contestants a chance to climb the money ladder, but only a correct answer can help them bank the cash, meaning they’ll have to swot up on their general knowledge in order to win big.

But, if they push their luck too far, they’ll crash out and lose everything.

News of the show broke in September, as Ant and Dec shared their excitement for Limitless Win, which would see them host a completely new format after years of presenting Britain's Got Talent, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

A statement from ITV said that the duo’s new show would be “packed with drama, jeopardy and real emotion”.

Ant and Dec said they’ve been working on the secret project for a while, suggesting they’d been hard at work devising the game show over the Covid-19 lockdown.

“We’re genuinely so excited to launch this new series. It’s something we’ve been developing with Hello Dolly and ITV for a while now and we can’t wait for you all to experience it,” Ant said. “We hope you love it as much as we do.”

Dec added: “It’s been a number of years since we launched a brand new TV format, it’s not something we do very often.

“But we’ve hit on something that is groundbreaking and innovative, and that’s why we are so excited to host this series and bring it to the nation,” he added.

Ant & Dec's Limitless Win is due to air on ITV early 2022
