First-time PGA Tour winner had great tweet about missing ‘Game of Thrones’ after victory

Max Homa picked up his first career PGA Tour win on Sunday as the 28-year-old won the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte by three strokes.

If you’ve never heard of Homa, you’re probably not alone as he’s struggled for much of his career. Which makes Sunday’s win all the more inspiring.

Homa recently talked about what kept him pushing through a streak of missing 15 of 17 cuts, how he’d shoot a “bazillion” on Thursday and then go to the range and then shoot a “bazillion” on Friday and missed the cut.

But he never gave up. He kept grinding every day and now he has his first win and his life is forever changed.
