First three UGA football game times, TV networks announced

On Thursday, the game times and TV networks for Georgia’s first three opponents of the season were announced.

The first game of the season will take place on Aug. 31 in Nashville against Vanderbilt and will kickoff at 7:30 PM on the SEC Network. The second game is at home against Murray State and will begin at 4:00 pm on ESPN2. The next week, the Dawgs will host Arkansas State at noon either on ESPN or ESPN2.

It was also recently reported that the Dawgs’ fourth game of the season-at home against Notre Dame will likely be the 8:00 PM CBS game that week.

If this is true, that will mean that Georgia will have two home evening contests (the Murray State game will likely continue into the evening) in their first four games overall, which is certainly music to the ears of Dawg fans who love the raucous night-time Sanford Stadium environment.
