First pictures of two women killed in Leeds horror crash after car hit tree

These are the first pictures of two women who died a horror smash in Leeds after the car they were travelling in collided with a tree.

Sacha Holmes and Tori Wilson, both 30, crashed in the village of Thorner in the early hours of Thursday (Oct 29) morning.

Emergency services rushed to the scene but, despite receiving medical treatment, both women died at the scene.

According to officers, the vehicle involved in the collision was a black Renault Clio.

West Yorkshire Police have launched a full investigation into the crash and specially trained officers are supporting the families of the two victims.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who saw the Renault Clio or who may have dashcam footage of the car.

It was last seen on Wyke Ridge Lane, travelling away from Leeds, at about 12.50am on Thursday.

Detective Inspector Paul Conroy said said: "We are continuing to support both families of Tori and Sacha at this difficult time.

"A full investigation is ongoing into the circumstances surround this collision.

"I would still like to appeal to anyone who was in the Carr Lane area of Thorner from around 1am and who saw the vehicle to come forward and speak to us."

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage is asked to call the Major Collision Enquiry Team on 101 or online quoting reference 13200541398.
