A young man who died after he was found injured in a Scots car park has been named locally.
Adam Anderson, 22, was discovered badly hurt on Ann Street in Greenock around 3.50pm on Sunday, January 2.
Emergency services raced to the scene and the man was rushed to Inverclyde Royal Hospital for treatment.
Tragically, he died a short time later.

Adam's heartbroken mum was too upset to speak to the Record on Monday afternoon.
Police have launched a probe into the incident and officers say their enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
Earlier we told how officers were going door-to-door at flats near the car park where Adam was discovered.

Cops cordoned off the area around the car park, which sits near a high rise block of flats on the street.
Police have been at the scene throughout the night while they carry out enquiries.
At around 10am forensic officers arrived to comb an area of the car park where Adam was discovered.
Meanwhile, officers were combing through CCTV at the local pub, the Broomhill Tavern - which faces away from the car park.
