First picture of murderer who strangled his ex-partner to death following argument

A murderer "created a nightmare" for the family of his victim after strangling her to death following an argument.

Stuart Hall, 48, killed Klarissa-Charline Faith at their home in Harworth, north Nottinghamshire on July 30, 2018.

He was jailed for life at Nottingham Crown Court on March 28, and will serve a minimum of 14 years behind bars.

Police were called to the home of 26-year-old Klarissa-Charline in Bracken Way at around 7.45pm where they found her body.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, and her former partner Hall was arrested later that evening.

Following his sentence, her father David Pain said: "Klarissa is now only memories to those of us that knew and loved her. Hopefully we will be allowed to pass those memories to Klarissa’s daughter, our granddaughter, as she grows.

“Stuart Hall created a nightmare for our family, the effects of which will ripple through our lives forever.

“I would like to thank the police, Crown Prosecution Service and Mr Clive Stockwell QC for their substantial efforts in bringing about a successful prosecution.”

Detective Inspector Chris Marriott, from Nottinghamshire Police, added: "Stuart Hall not only took away Clarissa’s life, he also deprived her daughter of her mother as she grows up.

"I sincerely hope that yesterday’s sentence brings her family some comfort and allows them to start re-building their lives.”
