First picture of motorcyclist killed in horror Clydebank crash

Tributes have been paid to a motorcyclist who died in a horror crash in Clydebank.

Dad-of-one Calvin Campbell was involved in a collision with a pedestrian and a car on Mountblow Road in the Dalmuir area of the town at around 4.05pm yesterday.

The 23-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pedestrian and driver of the car involved were both uninjured.

Friend Mark Kelly wrote: "RIP brother."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 4.05pm to a report of a serious crash involving a pedestrian, motorbike and a car in Mountblow Road, Clydebank, on Tuesday, 28 January.

“Emergency services attended but despite their best efforts, the motorcyclist, a 23-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service. The pedestrian and driver of the car were checked by ambulance personnel but were uninjured.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened. Police officers are appealing to anyone saw anything, or who may have dash-cam footage, to call 101, quoting incident 2234 of 28 January.”
