The victim of a Glasgow murder probe has been pictured for the first time as police launch probe into his killing.
Valerijs Litvins, 45, was found dead in a flat in the Parkhead area of the city.
We previously told how forensics were combing the property on Burgher Street after his body was discovered on March 7 around 11.15pm.
Police have confirmed that a post mortem has now been carried out and his death is being treated as murder.
Mr Litvins family have been made aware.
Detective Chief Inspector Gillian Grant of Police Scotland's Major Investigation Team, said: "Officers have been in the area carrying out enquiries, checking CCTV and speaking to local residents in an effort to establish the circumstances surrounding his death, however, we are still keen to hear from anyone who may have information that would assist our investigation.
"We would be interested to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage from the street, or anyone who may have heard a disturbance in the area that night to contact us.
