(Picture: Met Police)This is the first picture of a father stabbed to death in Bromley as his son appeared in court charged with his murder.
Paul Maurice, 51, was found with multiple stab wounds to his chest in Widmore Road, Bromley at 11pm on Tuesday.
Paramedics battled to save his life for an hour before he was pronounced dead at midnight.
His son Sean Maurice, 29, of Widmore Road, Bromley, was charged with his murder on Wednesday.
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded in custody until he appears at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.
Neighbours heard a huge argument breaking out at a nearby park shortly before the stabbing.
A post-mortem examination carried out on Tuesday gave his cause of death as stab wounds to his chest.
