Kieran Trippier has landed on Tyneside to complete his move from Atletico Madrid.
The England full-back touched down at lunchtime from the Spanish capital on a private jet and was met by Newcastle officials before being whisked into a people carrier.
Trippier then headed to the training ground to start his medical and with personal terms already agreed "in principle" the club hoping to announce the deal in due course.

The £12million deal has been agreed between the two clubs and there is potential for add ons which could eventually see it rise to £25million.
However, Newcastle were warned by Atletico that there was a limited window to get the deal done as they want to use the proceeds of the former Spurs and Burnley man's sale to bring in a replacement.
