First photos of Primark's Friends-themed café revealed - and it looks incredible

Just when we thought Primark and its various Disney collections couldn't get any better, they go and launch a Friends-themed café.

In less than 24 hours, lucky Manchester residents will get a little Central Perk-style coffee shop inside the city's Market Street Primark store, and judging by photos that just appeared on Facebook - it looks even better than we ever imagined.

Set to open tomorrow (on Wednesday June 12), the one-of-a-kind coffee shop celebrates the 25th anniversary of the hit comedy, letting fans channel their inner Phoebe, Monica, Chandler (or maybe Gunther), before having a browse of some of the Friends memorabilia also up for sale in the store.

But if the nostalgic setting wasn't enough, the café will also be serving up New York-inspired drinks - including huge cups of coffee - all served in compostable cups using ethically sourced coffee beans. Let's just hope Rachel isn't serving that day.

The jury's still out on whether the big opening day will include a guitarist singing Smelly Cat in the corner, but either way, the new addition to Manchester's Market Street Primark store is set to be a massive hit.

Tim Kelly, Primark's director of new business development, said: "We are hugely excited to be bringing the first branded Central Perk café in fashion retail in the UK to the British high street.

"Customers can relax and have fun there whilst also enjoying our amazing fashion at amazing prices in our Manchester store."
