First photo of driver killed in Angus horror crash with bus

A 32-year-old man who died in a road crash in Angus has been named by police.

Darren Mills was driving the van involved in a smash with a bus on the A90 bear Tealing on Thursday.

We told how emergency services raced to the scene when the alarm was raised at around 8.10am.

Darren, from Dundee, could tragically not be saved.

Seven people on board the bus were taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.

Inspector Greg Burns said: "Our thoughts remain with Mr Mills family at this sad time.

"His family have described him as a much loved son, brother and uncle who will be sadly missed. They have asked that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time."

"Our investigations continue and I would urge anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dash-cam footage of the incident who have not yet spoken to the Police to do so on 101, quoting reference number 0550 of March 12."
