A South West provider of co-working space is close to the completion of the first phase of its new Bristol development.
DeskLodge will open a new 18,000 sqft space in the city's Beacon Tower. Set across three floors of one of Bristol’s tallest landmarks, the co-working space include a series of themed areas such as Egyptian Gods, Merlin’s Cave, a Tardis and Banquet Hall. The furniture will also primarily be upcycled or restored pieces.
DeskLodge in Beacon Tower will be made up of a blend of 26 private offices, 289 dedicated desks, 60 hot desks, six meeting rooms with capacity for 5-12 people, as well as nine team booths, and eight phone booths.
The launch of phase one sees tenants moving into private offices before the rest of the development opens its doors in September.

DeskLodge, which was recently named in The Times ‘Best Places to Work 2023’, currently has two sites along the M4 corridor, one close to Bristol Temple Meads and one in central Reading. The business has its sights set on 20 locations by 2030.
