First Look: What’s inside Liberty’s beloved Beauty Advent Calendar this year?

Getting your hands on a signature Liberty beauty advent calendar is no small feat. In fact, it’s not dissimilar from entering a virtual queue to battle for tickets for a concert or festival. The dollhouse-esque, grandiose Christmas countdown has sold out ten years in a row.

There’s a pre-sale, which requires a subscription to the department store’s cult-favourite Beauty Drop, a wait list, and a general sale during which the less organised beauty enthusiasts can battle it out for the chance to get full-sized products from the likes of Lisa Eldrige, Augustinus Bader, Jones Road, Trinny London, Ex Nihilo and more for a fraction of the price.

This year’s calendar is a particularly special one. Designed and curated in celebration of 150 years of Liberty, buyers will find some additional surprises hidden behind those cardstock doors. As with the last few years, perhaps the most exciting surprise for beauty lovers is the potential to get your hands on one of 15 Liberty Golden Tickets, which grant the lucky recipient with whopping £1,000 to spend at Liberty.

What’s inside?

Top brands set to be part of the line-up this year include Augustinus Bader, La Mer, Byredo and more.

Additional perks include 10 per cent off and VIP access to all Liberty Beauty Kits, a £10 Liberty voucher for every £200 spent, and insider access to exclusive rewards.

This year’s Beauty Advent Calendar by Liberty is quite the showstopper. For the third year in a row, the department store collaborated with Illustrator Clym Evernden to produce yet another iconic, collectable design featuring technicolour Christmas scenes in and around the beloved Tudor building. It includes 26 products from the likes of Ex Nihilo, Jones Road, Lisa Eldridge, Augustinus Bader and more. Plus, buyers will get the chance to find one of 15 lucky golden tickets inside, which equates to an eye-watering £1,000 voucher to spend at Liberty.
