First look inside The Garage as legendary nightclub becomes a socially distanced pub

The Garage nightclub has reopened... But not as we know it.

The legendary Sauchiehall Street night spot is perhaps better known for its sticky floors, guilty pleasure pop bangers and £1 Skittlebombs – a much-loved student haunt since the early 90s.

But it's been transformed into the Electric Gardens during lockdown with spaced out wooden tables, twinkling lights and not a stray plastic cup in sight.

They debuted their new look on Facebook, saying the bar's interior is "inspired by rustic campfire and eclectic homely vibes."

The Electric Gardens launches tonight and will be open from Wednesday to Sunday between 5pm and 10pm.
